Administrative Core

The Administrative Core of the Bone Research Core Center is the centerpiece of the Center in that it houses the administrative structure, enrichment programs and advisory committees that are responsible for design and implementation of programs to enhance the bone research community at the University of Michigan. The Administrative Core will provide fiscal oversight for the Center, develop policies, procedures and programs to support the members of the Center and their associated research programs. The Core will conduct regular seminar series, an annual symposium, an annual retreat, and be responsible for the production of the scientific and promotional communications and reports. The Core will maintain the web site and data warehouse to enhance linkages within the institution, as well as to the entire national and international research community. The Administrative Core will serve as the conduit between the research center activities and other university organizations including institutes, departments, research centers and other interest groups. Most importantly, the Administrative Core is responsible for the design and implementation of programs which will facilitate increased interactions among clinical investigators and basic scientists who are dedicated towards the study of bone.
